Baldwin Park Kayak Launch & Bridge Project

No later than Tuesday May 10, 2022, digital bids shall be received up to 2:45 pm, and sealed bids mailed, or hand-delivered will be received up to 3:00 pm, local time by The Township of Onondaga (OWNER), at the Onondaga Township Hall, 4756 Baldwin Road, PO Box 67. Onondaga, MI 49264 then publicly opened and read aloud.
To submit bids, Contractors are encouraged to submit their bid to clerk@onodagatownship.org AND Rhiannon_schindewolf@yahoo.com or enter at the Township Hall and submit their bid information the required forms at the front desk attn: Rhiannon Schindewolf-DeShais.
The WORK consists of the following:
Construction of kayak launch to the Grand River including prefabricated dock and launch apparatus, cast-in-place concrete flatwork and pavement, integral concrete curb-walk, excavation and earthwork, asphalt pavement, segmental block retaining walls (cast-in-place concrete with form-liner alternate); boulder retaining walls; prefabricated pedestrian bridge; gravel pedestrian paths, landscape plantings and other miscellaneous items in conformance with the Contract Documents.
All bids shall be accompanied by a certified check of Bid Bond equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid payable to the OWNER.
The Bidding Documents including any addenda may be examined at the office of the OWNER, Onondaga Township Hall 4756 Baldwin Road, Onondaga, MI 49264 and/or at the office of the ENGINEER, Boss Engineering, 3121 E. Grand River Avenue, Howell Michigan 48843: beginning Thursday, April 21, 2022.
Digital or Hardcopies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained for a non-refundable fee of $45.00 from the ENGINEER at 3121 E. Grand River Avenue, Howell, Michigan 48843, 517-546-4836. Please make check payable to Boss Engineering. The bidder must supply the name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and facsimile number of the individual of firm to whom addenda, if any, can be directed.
Bidder should contact OWNER or ENGINEER prior to bid submittal for any addendums. Requests to the ENGINEER for clarifications are encouraged. A Pre-Bid meeting may be scheduled for the week of May 2nd, 2022, for those interested.
This project is funded through Onondaga Township by a grant from Ingham County (#TR094). The Contractor and Subcontractors on this project must comply with all applicable local, state, federal requirements, and County grant requirements.
